What We Did
As consumers, we appreciate a smooth online ordering experience when we have one. From purchase to tracking to—POOF—arrival at our doors. It feels like magic, but after working with Convey—a company that uses data to ensure ‘The Perfect Order’—we have a lot more insight into what actually powers these positive experiences. First comes knowledge, then comes building a marketing website.
Every project we work on has an unspoken (or spoken) goal of making the company look credible. And while you can’t fake industry experience or customer value, you can undermine both with an outdated web presence. There’s this you-know-it-when-you-see-it quality to modern design that immediately tells visitors they’re in good hands. For Convey, we combined warm gradients with an analytical typeface to strike the right balance between modern and timeless. Data with a pulse.
What We Learned
One of the most powerful things you can do on a website is anticipate the audience’s needs and address them head on. Right on the homepage—above the fold—we decided to feature how Convey solves common problems. Rather than expecting users to remember a proprietary name for your product, meet them halfway by stating desired outcomes instead. Solving pain points is a strong motivator.
